Chit Chat 4 Kids Speech Pathology Service provides assessment and treatment of children aged 0-10 years with delays in play, receptive and expressive language, social interaction, speech production, fluency and eating and drinking.

Speech Pathology does not require a referral, you can self-refer. You will, however, need a doctor’s referral if you are planning to claim a rebate through Medicare using a Chronic Disease Management / previously Enhance Primary Care.

In general, Speech pathology is the study, diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders. This may include supporting adults and children with difficulties in the areas of speech, language, fluency and/or voice. A Speech Pathologist may also support children and adults who experience difficulties swallowing food and drink safely.
